Quick Tip: Pesky Polish Lids!

We all have that one devastating moment in our lives, when our hearts are set on a color and you sit down to start painting your nails.. when.. you can't get the darn lid off! Now i absolutely HATE it when this happens. Once i tried so hard to get it off (before i knew these helpful hints of course) that i tried to twist it off with a wrench that totally ruined my lid :(

With these quick tips, you will never have to hit the all time low that i did with my beloved strawberry margarita!

1. Hot Water

All you need to do, is run some warm to hot water over your bottle. After that it should start to loosen up a bit.. If it still doesn't seem to budge, try putting it in a bowl of warm water and letting it soak for a couple of minutes. 

2. Rubber Band 

Wrap a rubber band around the lid until it's tight enough to stay on the lid itself (this works better with thicker rubber bands). This should be able to give you a better grip on the lid to twist it off!
